It’s that time of year to forage. We head to Shelby County, Ky., to forage for morels, and back to Franklin County, Ky., to pick Pheasant Back Mushrooms (from the same tree as last year!). Use these mushrooms and fennel in a cheesy pasta recipe over the fire. Head out to the field to check on the new lambs and bottle feed Montana, our lamb (who thinks he’s a dog).

A night of indulgences! Fry up a pork chop for a loaded sandwich topped with homemade coleslaw, pickles, BBQ sauce and beets! Press together tater tots to make crispy cups and stuff with cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip. End the night with Tim’s favorite, Oatmeal Cookies.


#410 -- Bow Fishing for Tilapia in Florida, Seafood Stew (Bouillabaisse) and Pan Seared Tilapia
Tim and Nicki are fishing in Florida catching bluegill, catfish and tilapia. Take the local seafood and make a fish stew over the fire (with homemade fish stock), then bow fish for tilapia to bring back for filets in a white wine butter sauce with sautéed spinach.

Chinese takeout at HOME! Break out the peanut oil and fry some homemade egg rolls stuffed with pork and cabbage. Cover Tim Tim Shrimp in a sweet and spicy sauce for a mouth-watering crunch that keeps you coming back for more. For dessert? Fried Donuts rolled in cinnamon and sugar.

We’re back from fishing in Michigan with a classic catfish stew recipe called Mull or Mulldown.
