With world-class performance, fascinating interviews, footage of beautiful locations in southern Spain and similar materials, our narrator (a well-known gitano - Spanish Gypsy - flamenco singer) shows us the connection between flamenco and some specific occupations, especially farm work. At appropriate places, we delve into controversies surrounding the art form and into the origins of the gitanos, an ethnic group closely associated with flamenco. This includes some footage from northwest India, the land from which gitanos originated.

Repeating the style of the first broadcast hour, our narrator expands on the emotional range of which flamenco is capable and discusses more fully the origins of the art form, its current state, and its probable future. This future is intimately linked to the demands of the entertainment industry and its effect on producing and favoring various types of fusion. In addition, as before, we are taken on fascinating side-trips to India, and hear brief explanations about what effects the historical treatment of gitanos have had on the development of the art form. The series ends with a joyful, rousing "fin de fiesta" in which a large group of performers sing, dance, and play the guitar, offering our viewers a final experience of the beauty and vitality of the traditional art form.
