Stefan Soloviev is one of the largest landowners in the United States.
His farms are in Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico and Texas, and they are devoted to
sustainable farming techniques. In this program we visit his farms and learn about the
no-till farming methods he is using to protect the land.
#2202 Morikami Museum And Japanese Gardens
In 1906, at the age of 19 George Morikami emigrated from has native Japan to Florida.
In 1973, he donated his 200-acre farm to Palm Beach County. In this program, Burt
takes us on a tour of the Morikami Museum, the Japanese Gardens and the cultural
center. We also get to see a traditional Japanese tea ceremony.

Burt and Nicholas visit six popular restaurants in The Palm Beaches, and film the chefs
demonstrating their favorite recipes. Each recipe illustrate the history of a dessert — a
key lime pie, a tres leches cake, a honey cake, a chocolate soufflé, Gulab Jamon and a
cheese cake.

In this program, Nicholas takes us on a tour of Guatemala. He visits the markets with a
famous television chef and learns about the local foods. We discover the history of the
Mayan tribes, experience how the ancient Mayans made chocolate, visit the local
restaurants and cook a pizza with the heat of a volcano.

sauce”.
