On this episode of All Across Oregon, Hold on!!! We're heading to Gold Hill. Vinny's taking you on the zip, dip and sip tour. What's Zip, Dip and Sip? We visited three family run businesses. First, we start with zip. You'll meet a young woman who took her idea and passion for building her own business and created a super fun zip line adventure, right here in the isolated little town of Gold Hill. We'll go soaring above the trees on a five-line zipline course. From there we go dipping. You'll meet another family who runs a rafting company right down the way as they take us through beautiful, breathtaking raft rides down the scenic Rogue River and catch a couple of class 4 rapids. We finish our day sipping at one of the area's most well-known and beautiful vineyards.

Today we go on a mind-bending trip as we look at Mystery House, a natural phenomenon, which is open to the public and is family run since its inception to this day. If you are not familiar with this place, you will see how it started and who was involved. After that we take a couple minute drive down the road and meet a husband-and-wife team that has bought the English tradition of high tea, right here to southern Oregon.

#104 Southern Oregon Coast: Beautiful Brookings
Long Description:
We are heading west to the beautiful southern Oregon Coast. We will visit the port city of Brookings. You will meet a couple of family run businesses, one restaurant, and a brewery with a vegan food truck tucked inside. First stop is Zolas on the water. Great food, great people and wait till you see the view. From there we go down the street to The Chetco Brewing Company. We will meet the owners and see how they have handcrafted their beer, built a business from humble beginnings, and created an award-winning beer that is in a class of its own. And finally, the vegan food truck in The Chetco Brewing Company. So good. The sun was out, and the ocean was calm and majestic making for a great day.

On this episode of ALL ACROSS OREGON, we are starting our day at one of the hardest working bakeries in Southern Oregon. From there we take a drive up northeast to the city of Trail, Oregon to meet a family that does it all, and have some of the most authentic Mexican food you've ever had right in the back of a mini market. On our way there, we visit the fish hatchery and get an education and just how much these people do to help our ecosystem here in Southern Oregon and beyond. And wait till you see the waterfall, one of many here in our backyard.

From there we head over to one of Bend’s oldest running family Pizzerias. And then a local swimming hole, right on the outside of town? So beautiful!! We finish our day at what's known by the locals and visitors as a real gem of Bend, The High Desert Museum. We learn so much, see so much and are entertained and educated along the way. We'll learn a little more about what we can do to take responsibility to help keep our oceans cleaner. And a bakery that's not just a bakery. It is also a coffee shop and a sweet store. You’ll meet a unique woman who takes her two passions, baking and antiquing, and puts them together to create an experience you'll talk about far after your trip to Newport.

You will meet two farmer brothers who take micro - brewing to the next level and show how they show their sustainability on their farm with the cows.

On this Episode of ALL ACROSS OREGON, we start our day in Ashland, where you'll meet the hands-on owner of a chocolate factory that takes you back to that kid in a candy store nostalgia. We had all kinds of chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. From there, we make a stop to meet a woman, who lovingly volunteers her time to visit people in nursing homes, hospitals and others who can't get around on their own with a furry friend who makes everyone's day just a little better. You're going to love her. Then, it's off to a historic flour mill that is over 150 years old in Eagle Point. It's still grinding away and being rebuilt. Wait until you see the history and the hurdles they have had to face to keep this gem part of our community. Ashland to Eagle point.

After that , we’ll visit a landmark, multi-generational family run restaurant that serves top notch specialty foods that so many of us love.. We start our day in Central Point at the Crater Cafe, with tons of character and personality to go with it. From there, we’ll head to the local Humane society, where I fell in love with my new three legged cat , Scoot.. As we go behind the scenes with some very cute and lovable dogs and cats that need to find a new forever home. We finish our day with a meal to remember standing in the kitchen with the Chef herself ..
