NETA’s Tinia Milhouse-Lazenby Promoted
New Role as Director of Culture and Learning
On July 1, 2024, Tinia Milhouse-Lazenby will be promoted to NETA’s director of culture and learning. In this elevated role, she will provide leadership and support around culture and growth including conferences and events, leadership for NETA staff growth, and DEI.
Milhouse-Lazenby will lead and develop NETA’s DEI work in support of strategic priorities including system projects such as Public Media Diversity Leaders Initiative (PMDLI) in partnership with South Carolina ETV and The Riley Institute. She will also oversee learning and development programs that enhance staff culture, employee skills, career growth, and leadership development. Milhouse-Lazenby will research and activate NETA’s culture to reflect its values and mission by fostering an inclusive work environment, and work on culture by aligning the professional environment with the organization’s values and mission.

Milhouse-Lazenby has been NETA’s senior director of conference services since 2020 and has been with the organization since 1999. She is a PMDLI fellow from their fifth cohort.
