The St. Augustine lighthouse was built in 1871 - 74 and is open to the public. Sarah shows you the interior and climbs 190 steps to the top for a great view and a look at the first order Fresnel lens. Roger paints the lighthouse from nearby.

Sarah chats with a veterinarian about man’s best friend and plays on St. Augustine Beach with a rescue dog from a local shelter. Roger paints a portrait of an aging Yorkshire Terrier.

Along Florida’s panhandle is Franklin County where Sarah explores the waterways by boat, seeing the sights and stopping at Dog Island to shell hunt. Roger paints a distant marsh view in acrylics.

Sarah talks to a Ohio farmer who owns a large and unusual hundred-year-old round barn built by Amish craftsman. Roger paints the red barn from a nearby knoll during corn-harvesting season.
